About Mihal

Mihal Zada is a journalist, a photographer and a documentarian. She has documented social and environmental issues and attempted to tackle the meaning of religion in humanity. She sees the world just a little differently which helps her behind the camera when she’s capturing life as it happens.

Mihal has worked for Eye Weekly in Toronto, Ontario and the Loyalist Pioneer in Belleville, Ontario. She graduated from George Brown college’s digital photography program in 2008 and from Loyalist college’s photojournalism program in 2011. She’s still working for her master degree from the university of Life.

An artist and an adventurer, Mihal spends much of her free time hiking, canoeing, running around with her dog and trying to sort out exactly where she fits into this world.
